    With rebate apps like Ibotta readily available on our smartphones, stacking deals for more savings is the easiest it’s ever been. I’m talking about simply opening an app, doing a quick task like watching a short video, purchasing an item, and then uploading the receipt. It’s so simple I’ve been using Ibotta for a year now and have earned so much money back on products I already buy. Not particularly tech-savvy? Don’t worry. The app is relatively easy to use, and it shouldn’t take much longer than it does to sort and cut traditional paper coupons.

How it works:




Registration is super easy—you can even sign up using your Facebook!
After you register online, download the app:
After the download, open the Ibotta app. Pick the store, restaurant, or theater where you plan to shop. Currently there are over 80 retailers, movie theaters, restaurants, pet stores, pharmacies, convenience stores and home improvement centers to choose from. 

Review the offers for your selected store, and choose as many offers as you’d like, but keep in mind that some offers may expire. As such, check the product detail page to view the offer’s expiration date, and make sure to redeem the offer before that date. 

    Next all you need to do is go through each section and click unlock to unlock your items you purchased or will be purchasing! It must be the exact item as in the picture, keep that in mind! Different items will be different amounts of money you will receive. For example if you buy Munchies Sandwich Crackers, you can click the unlock image under picture and just for purchasing that item you get .50 cash back! Now when it comes to items like diapers as you will see pictures above. Notice it doesn't have a name, because that is a any brand product! Meaning no matter what brand it is, as long as you buy diapers you can still save! There are lost of Any Brand products, those are my favorite to use, because they are the easiest to use! 


    Once you have built up money, you can redeem gift cards! Below is a picture of some you can pick from! Most require a $20 minimum, but you can also transfer money to your PayPal instead! 

    I currently have $46 in total lifetime savings but I redeemed a gift card a while back. My current savings is $21, so I'm up to get my second FREE gift card! I like picking Walmart or Amazon because there's so many options of things you can buy!
