     It's that time of year again for the 5th  Annual Trees Rock Video Contest! Did you know that Scotties plants three trees for every one it uses? This has now become more than just a promise, it is now a national educational program for kids! 

   The company has announced its new program called the 5th annual TREES ROCK video contest! The rules are simple, 
-US only!
-Open to students grade 3-6

   To enter all you have to do is have your child shoot a 1-3 minute video to tell Scotties why trees are so important! I believe that this is such a great opportunity for children, it provides them with environmental curriculum and tips about all of the things trees do in our community! 

   All videos must be submitted by November 13, 2015 at 
The top 10 finalists will be announced in December! From there all votes will go national to help determine the winner of the contest by early 2016! The winner will receive $10,000 to use on a sustainable project at their school, and it will be awarded at a celebratory event in April/May! 


   Scotties has planted over 944 million trees in North America over the last 50 years! They are so excited to share there love of trees and nature with your children and generations to come!
