Vintage Cosmetics

When it comes to anything beauty or makeup related, I'm always on the search to try new brands. When I came across Vintage Cosmetics on Instagram, I was very curious about their products. I just so happened to find a giveaway running at the time, and later found out I won two gorgeous face palettes from Vintage Cosmetics. So that brings me here today another review!

I was so excited to try this brand, because I had seen it before on Instagram but I was excited to give it a try for myself! If you have never heard of Vintage Cosmetics products are highly curated to compliment a woman's skin tone, with pigments that pop and highlight her features while delivering comfort and long wear benefits! I will say although their website collection is small, everything seems to be pretty top notch and high quality from what I have tried! They have eyeshadow palettes, mascara, blush and highlighters as well as makeup brushes! As far as price point, its sort of pricey however for the items I reviewed I honestly believe the price is totally worth it. Okay, now on to the review, honestly when it comes to beauty palettes are one of weaknesses. Whether its eyeshadows, blush, highlighters you name it I want it all!

Lets start off with the Illuminating Face Highlighter Set, I was honestly shocked when I seen these in person. Shocked as in when you see a hot guy walk by and your mouth drops, well that's what I mean, haha. It comes with two shades, Rose Quartz and Chocolate Diamond. Ever since I got it, I haven't stopped wearing it! Both shades are so gorgeous on the skin, its great topped on either a blush or bronzer or just as a plain highlight! It adds the perfect radiance to your skin, and reflects perfectly outside in the sun! It swatches even more gorgeous outside in the sun than in room lighting, they are so buttery. It is currently priced at $35. Your getting a big pan sized amount of product. Although it may sound pricey, for the product itself it is so worth it! Whenever I'm looking for a highlighter that I know wont budge, this is the one I go for! Plus its not a huge palette, so its perfect for traveling and fits easily inside your purse or makeup bag.

As for the Blush and Brighten Face Palette, I was very scared of the colors not going to lie. The pigmentation of these blushes are extreme. They are very buttery and smooth. With colors this bright sometimes you have to use an easy hand when they are applied. They have two options for palettes. the one I have is the Blossom and Poppy shades. There is also a palette with the shades, Pink Coral and Flamingo. With a slight brush on your cheeks, you'll get a gorgeous pop of color with a matte finish. This palette as well is priced at $35. In my opinion I really like the Highlighter better than the blush palette. However I've been using it a lot more recently and I have gotten a lot more used to the colors!

Whether your in need of a gorgeous highlighting palette or maybe just some makeup brushes, Vintage Cosmetics has you covered not to mention with that gorgeous packaging!
